How it works

A deferred annuity has two phases: your premium grows tax-deferred for a set number of years, then converts into a stream of income. This estimates the accumulated value when income starts, and the monthly payment that value could support over your payout years. The longer you defer, the larger the pot and the bigger the eventual check.
